Great advice all of it. The politeness advice really resonates with me. It is something that my husband and I do with each other. One reason I do is that I've been around couples who say the most awful things to each other in the guise of sarcastic joking.

I watched the Oprah show with the Haggards and at the end of the show, Oprah said that just before the show aired they had received word that a male member of Haggard's old congregation had just announced that he had also had a sexual relationship with Ted.

It amuses me that the researchers are surprised that there was a drop in the birth rate during a recession when the article also said there have been drops during the Great Depression and other recessions in the past. Like duh.

Yep, totally agree with you. And people wonder why MRSA and TB have turned into the nearly unstoppable killers they have. I've read reports of patients demanding to be given antibiotics for germs that they aren't even designed to get rid of.

Thank you for saying that about prescription drugs, SonOfLiberty. Too many people mistakenly think a drug is safe because their doctor gives it to them, and too many doctors are waaay to eager to dole out the hard drugs. I've had it done to me. Once for a toothache a dentist prescribed Oxycodone.
